Help grow the Trace component library. Upload your schematic symbols or PCB footprints and our team will review them for inclusion.
Contribution Guidelines
- 1.Follow the KiCad Library Conventions (KLC) for consistency across the library.
- 2.Use .kicad_sym for symbols or .kicad_mod for footprints (native KiCad formats). Altium .SchDoc symbols are accepted and converted server-side.
- 3.Include complete metadata: accurate pin/pad names and types, datasheet URL, package information, and relevant keywords.
- 4.Every submission is reviewed for quality and KLC compliance before it joins the community library.
How to Submit

Upload your component file
Drag and drop or select a .kicad_sym, .kicad_mod, or .SchDoc file below. Format is validated automatically.

Fill in the details
Choose the target library and add a description so reviewers understand your contribution.
- 3.
Submit for review
Our team reviews for quality and KLC compliance. Approved components are added to the community library.
- 4.
Track your submission
View status in My Components. You'll get a notification when it's reviewed.
